Circle Hot Springs Resort

The Circle Hot Springs Resort is haunted by the spirit of a woman. The paranormal activity of the resort includes disembodied footsteps, objects flying off the walls, and other odd happenings. The female apparition tends to wander the third floor library.

It is also haunted by the former owner, whose ghost does not like renovations. In the bar, beers have been moved by themselves. Disembodied footsteps can be heard on the porches of the rental cabins.

Courtyard by Marriott in Anchorage, Alaska

Room 201 of the Courtyard by Marriott in Anchorage, Alaska is haunted by a man who died there mysteriously, only to have his body be left undiscovered for several days. A spirit named “Ken” has been seen traversing the parking lot, courtyard, and near the gazebo. There is also the apparition of a cat that walks around the hotel, predominantly in Rooms 103 and 107.

The Lighthouse Inn

The Lighthouse Inn in New London, Connecticut is said to be haunted by a bride who met her untimely end in 1930 when she took a fall down the main staircase, breaking her neck. Reported activity includes being touched by an unseen entity and drops in temperature.

La Posada Hotel

The La Posada Hotel (which means The Inn Hotel) in Santa Fe has the historic Staab House as its centerpiece. The mansion was built in 1882 by an old Santa Fe Trail merchant. Abraham Staab had earned a great deal of money from his days as a major supply contractor for the Union Army during the Civil War. He and his wife Julia built the mansion together, decorating it with European materials and furnishings.

Jerome Grand Hotel

The cause of the hauntings at the Jerome Grand Hotel remains a mystery. The apparition of a woman in white has been seen roaming the halls. A ghostly nurse with a clipboard is seen in one of the hotel’s rooms. Lastly, the ghost of a little boy has been known to run through the bar area in search of his mother during the late hours of the night. Screaming and apparitions are all consistently witnessed at the Jerome Grand Hotel.

Ramada Inn in Eureka, Missouri

A Ramada Inn employee witnessed odd happenings on their shift while they were doing laundry and stocking closets. On one night, they saw shadows go across the dryers for about thirty seconds before they disappeared.

The Old El Dorado, Kansas Hotel

Built during the 1920s, the hotel featured a basement with a bar that was used illegally for drinking during Prohibition. It also featured a number of showgirls. Currently, the building is used as an apartment building. The halls of the place house shadows, ghosts, and the sound of small children. When no one is in the building, it is dangerous to visit the basement, as dangerous spirits reside there.

Jailer’s Inn

Formerly a jail, the Jailer’s Inn is now a bed and breakfast located in Bardstown, Kentucky. Several former employees have reported hearing the sounds of crying when no one actually was, and hearing disembodied footsteps. The cause of the haunting is unknown.

Clifford Hotel

Many years ago, several men, women, and children were massacred in the main lobby by a man at the hotel who went insane. Even despite the fact people live on the second floor, there is an apparition of a hostile man who doesn’t like anyone going onto that floor.

Desert Sands Motel

The Desert Sands Motel is plagued with the paranormal. Activity such as cold spots, TVs changing channels and turning on and off by themselves, doors unlocking, water running on its own, and voices in the bathroom.

Historic Anchorage Hotel

The Historic Anchorage Hotel – the oldest hotel in Anchorage – is haunted by a wide variety of different ghosts, such as the young girl who roams the halls of the second floor. The TVs in rooms 215 and 217 TV turn on and off by themselves. The bathtub and sink faucets run on their own. Employees have reported the sound of footsteps descending the stairs even when the hotel is empty, and many of them have witnessed the apparition of a man near the stairs.

Grant Corner Inn

The Grant Corner Inn located in Santa Fe, New Mexico was built in 1905. Rooms 4, 8, and the hallway on the second floor are the main areas that have paranormal activity. Known happenings include footsteps, slamming doors, and the apparition of a grayish man.
