Wolf Hollow is an abandoned house located up an old road in Excelsior Springs, Missouri. Several decades ago, the house was used by the Ku Klux Klan to hang the African Americans they tortured. Those who have visited the house report feeling chills and shivers upon pulling up to it. The apparition of clothes hanging to dry on a line can be seen, and eerie noises have been known to emanate from Wolf Hollow.
Though it was recently shut down, the Roosevelt School’s stage remains to be haunted by the spirit of a girl name Penny. Penny was a play cast member that hung herself during the performance due to a pregnancy. The surrounding buildings are also haunted.
A boy named Donny died of carbon monoxide poisoning at the Excelsior Springs Middle School, where he was also buried. It is said that if you walk into the school’s gym at 2:30 (unknown whether it is AM or PM), you will see an apparition of Donny playing his guitar.
