The story behind the haunting of Alabama Avenue Middle School (sometimes called Albertville Middle School) is unknown. At night, doors slam on their own and the lights flicker. Students at the school have reported locking their lockers, leaving, and coming back to find their lockers unlocked. Sounds of children in the halls can be heard even when the building is only open to staff.
