History

The Spring Lawn Farm, nicknamed “the Albino Farm”, has been surrounding of legends and lore for several years. Multiple versions of the story have been told around Springfield, Missouri so much that it is hard to separate fact from fiction. However, they generally all follow one of three general ideas.

The first version of the story states that an albino caretaker haunts the farm and scares off trespassers who try to break into the abandoned farm. The second version says that it had an underground hospital where experiments were conducted on albinos. The third version mentions an albino family who would spray paint the lawn bright orange. As for the hauntings, it is believed that if you park your car in the middle of the iron bridge that is close to the farm, it will be pushed to the end of the bridge and stop suddenly.
